no point in arguing

There is no point in arguing over a fact.
if it matters, fact-check from agreed-upon sources and close the case.
if it doesn't, drop-it, brush-aside and move-on.

There is no point in arguing over the past.
utterly impossible to grasp full perspective of what really happened.
history is susceptible to exagerration, narratives, biases and delusions.

There is no point in arguing over the unprovable absurds.
Personal traits, boasts, claims that can neither be verified;
nor be exhibited nor be experienced by the doubter are not worth pondering.

The only reason to argue is; inquisitive playfulness.
to mull over the details that may help better comprehention;
to trantiently fire-up someone, to bewilder and deliver a delightful surprise.

பயின்றதை மடமையுடன் பழகுதல்..
திறன்கொண்டு வளம்சேர்த்தல்..
சொல்லற, அமைதி பழகுதல்..
இக்கணத்தை ரசிக்கும் ஆற்றல்..
யாவும் மேம்பாடே!

எல்லாம் இன்பமயம்!
கடமை பொறுப்பு பாத்தியதை,
தடைபடா நேரத்தில், இன்பமாய் இரு!

இன்பத்தின் இறுதியில் வெறுமை ஊற்றுபவை,
இயற்கையின் செயல் அல்ல!
பரிணாம உயர்வை தாமதப்படுத்தும் சவால்கள்.

பொருள் தானாய் விளங்காது! தேடி அறியப்படுவது!
எது உன் ஊக்கத்தை தூண்டுகிறதோ,

தானாய் விரையும் செல்வங்கள்!

அன்பில் வியப்பில் அக்கரையில்,
சக்தியும் நேரமும் வளமும் செலவிட்டு,
மனம் நெகிழும் செயல் யாவும் அறமாம்.

Graduation

you can't get ride of fear!
fear of fears is yet another fear.

you can't get rid of all desires!
the desire to do so contradicts the strive.

you can't disolve all your pride!
the accompolishment seeds new hubris.


you can watch the ebb and flow of emotions.
uninvolved witnessing is the height of intelligence!

you may recognize a hint of innocence in every being.
after a long phase of emotionless detatchment!

that innocence seeds the ability to care,
protect and even love those beings at times!

when that care graduates to compassion,
you have completed your course on this realm!
