தந்தை என்ற பட்டத்திற்கு
தகுதி அற்றவன் நீ!

எவனோ ஒருவன் அவதூறு பேச,
அதை சொல்ல நீ யார்? என்று
வரிந்து கட்டிய மனைவியின்
குரல் சொல்லும் உன் புருஷ லக்ஷணம்!

உன் உடலில் குருதி சிந்தினால்,
தந்தையின் நெஞ்சில் ரௌத்திரமும்
தாயின் கண்ணில் நாளங்களும்
வெடிக்காவிடில், பூமிக்கே பாரம் நீ!

சிக்கலில் மாட்டி திணறும்
சக ஊழியன், உன்னை கண்டதும்
அப்பாடா! என்று பெருமூச்சு விடாவிடின்,
நீ இருந்து என்ன பயன்?

வேலை இழந்த ஓட்டுனன்

தானே இயங்கி வாகனம் வந்தது,
வேலை இழந்தான் ஓட்டுனன்.

பழி வாங்காமல் பால் கொடுத்து,
வாழ்வளித்தது வீட்டு மாடு.

நீ வந்த வேலை என்னவென்று 

இப்போதாவது சிந்தி.

இறை தூதராம் மழலையர்!
கொண்டு வந்த செய்தியை
சொல்ல தவிக்கும் திணரலே
அடம் அழுகை சிரிப்பு சிணுங்கல்

சொல்லும் யுக்தியை கற்கும் முன்
நம் சித்தாந்தத்தை திணித்து
அவர் மெய்ஞ்ஞானதிற்கு உறையிட்டு
நம்மைப்போல் ஆக்கி மகிழ்கிறோம்

மனம் தளராது மீண்டும் ஓர் தூதனை
நம்மிடம் அனுப்பும் இறைவனுக்கு
இத்தூதர் மீது அவ்வளவு நம்பிக்கையா?
அல்லது நம் மீது அலாதி கருணையா?

for in it is the manmade bait uncovered

I wish everyone can instantly become everything they aspire,
for in it is the futility of fame soon dodged

I wish everyone can animate all the things they wish for,
for in it is the exhaustion of material crave realized

I wish everyone can fulfill all the sensory needs they crave,
for in it is the insatiable nature of desires exemplified

I wish everyone can assimilate all the knowledge possible,
for in it is the distress of constipated mind cognized

I wish everyone can be as intelligent as the brightest,
for in it is the anguish of the sharpest knife suffered

I wish everyone can be as valorous as an immortal,
for in it is the realization that nothing is worth the fear

I wish everyone can regain the innocence they lost,
for in it is the cradle of mother nature relished to the hilt
